Former UW-Madison Wrestler Ed Gutnik won the Real Pro Wrestling regional try-out in Mt. Vernon, Iowa yesterday.

Ed will go on to wrestle at the Super Challenge event in San Jose, California on January 7th.

Currently Ed is living and training in Madison as one of the Wisconsin Wrestling Club coaches. His involvement with the program at UW-Madison adds a great work out partner and mentor for current team members. Having Ed in the room on a daily basis represents one of the many positive changes going on with the Wisconsin Wrestling program.
